On Sunday, June 2, St. Andrew’s Hallville will celebrate its 185th anniversary. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Tom Sherwood.

Rev. Sherwood is an ordained United Church minister. He has done both parish (Osgoode-Kars, Orléans) as well as campus (Carleton University Chaplain) ministry and also teaches part-time at Carleton and Saint Paul University.

His national study of the spirituality and values of Canadians born in the 1980s was published by the United Church in 2016 (Listening to The Echo – young adults talk about religion, spirituality, God, gods and their world). His research has also been published and presented in five documentary theatre projects: The god Monologues (2013), godVERBATIM in the 2014 Ottawa Fringe Festival, O god in the 2015 Fringe, Trans-Script in 2016-18, and Hope? (2018).
